Plan II Honors Program

Plan II is a multidisciplinary honors curriculum leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree. This four-year degree plan includes a variety of courses to choose from, all with a strong emphasis on problem solving, critical skills, and writing. Students earn a major in Plan II Honors and in some cases can pair it with another major, either within or beyond the College of Liberal Arts. Prospective Plan II students must be admissible to the University of Texas at Austin to be considered for Plan II Honors. Plan II is a first-time-freshman-only program.

Interested high school seniors may apply for Plan II Honors on the Common application or via the online Honors Application (which is accessible only after an applicant has completed and submitted the Common application), complete with a resume and a personal statement.
